Information & Costs Are
you a Martial Arts school owner looking to provide the
most cutting edge self defense training available anywhere to your
students and
your community? Or perhaps you are one of
the growing numbers of FAST Defense certified
instructors who do not own a school but want a good business
opportunity that
provides an incomparable service to your area. FAST Defense offers a very effective
and reasonably priced format
for instructor training. The training combines formal instructor
training with
the teaching of actual classes to students derived from your martial
arts
school and the general public. This provides instructor trainees with
the
direct experience of teaching an actual class from start to finish,
while also
providing considerable revenue to defray the expenses associated with
hosting
the training. The end result is a very in-depth training at a very
reasonable
cost! Note: Many people ask if
we sell the Bulletman suit alone
without training. We do not, but do so in teamwork with a separate
company who
has specialized in building these specific suits for over 20 years. The
body
armor needs to be custom fitted for the particular wearer, which is
partially
done by the suit-maker and completed during instructor training. In the
past,
people who have received only the suit and not the training or suit
customization have experienced serious injuries to themselves and to
their
students. FAST Defense specializes in providing
the
very finest training methodology available that has evolved in
conjunction with
this specific body armor. This training is amazingly effective and
powerful
when done correctly. When it is not, it can do harm. Thus, FAST Defense
endeavors to make this training as available and reasonably priced as
possible,
and the International
FAST Defense Association was created to
support you in this training. We feel that your success is our success!
LOGISTICS: Most training is conducted during the weekdays,
however weekends can be scheduled with enough advance notice. Bill Kipp
or a
senior FAST Defense Instructor
trainer would fly in and train an instructor team for 4-5 hrs in the
daytime
for each of 2 days, and teach an actual 3.5 hour FAST Basics class to
students
in your area on the second evening. The Instructor trainer would fly
out the
following morning, (3 nights and 2 full days at your location). Costs
are
listed below. ***You can also be trained
in the FAST
CATS
for
Children (Child Assertiveness Training Series) Level I course. The
course is taught in a 2.5 hr format covering dynamic Anti-Bully and
Anti
Abduction techniques and could be taught in the afternoon of the first
evening
or before the adult session. This is one of the most popular FAST Defense courses of
all and gives your program much more depth while helping youngsters
have skills
that we all wish we had when we were young! An Instructor
team
that you would train
consists of at least 1 female to play the coach, and ideally 2 males to
play
the woofers (male suited instructors). You can get by with one but two
is much
better. Even more instructors are better and can be trained at no
additional
cost aside from the suit expenses. The
FAST Defense international
team of instructors is made up of talented and dedicated individuals
working
